Who we are
RDA Aluminium installs aluminium doors and windows in Cape Town. Our address is 11 Strawberry Road, Dennemere, Blackheath, Cape Town, 7580, and our phone number is 021 211 0070. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean RDA Aluminium.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and what we do with it. It is written with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) in mind.
What we collect
When you send a quote request, we receive the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address if you give it, suburb, the work you need, any description and any photos you upload. We also record when you agreed to this policy, the page you sent the form from, and your internet (IP) address, which helps us deal with spam and abuse.
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If you log in to the website as an administrator, WordPress sets the cookies needed for that login.
Why we use it
We use your details to respond to your request: to contact you, discuss the work, measure, quote, and keep a record of the enquiry.
Spam checking
Quote requests are checked by Akismet, a spam-filtering service run by Automattic. To do this, the name, email address, message and IP address from the form are sent to Akismet. You can read Automattic’s privacy policy.
Who can see it
Your request is stored in this website’s database and emailed to our staff. Photos are kept in a private folder that only logged-in staff can open. Our web host stores the website and its data on our behalf. We do not sell your information or share it with marketers.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and to keep proper business records. After that we delete them.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Call us on 021 211 0070 or write to us at the address above.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way we handle personal information changes. Last updated: 17 October 2026.
